The system will detect unsuccessful log in attempts and enforce a configurable limit from one to ten consecutive unsuccessful log in attempts within a configurable period of one to 60 minutes, configurable in one-minute increments.
The system provides two options when the configured number of consecutive unsuccessful log in attempts is exceeded, whether the log in occurs via a local or network connection: (1) Automatically disable the account for a configurable time period of one to 60 minutes, configurable in one minute increments, and (2) Automatically disable the account until released by authorized personnel.
Authorized personnel with permissions can enable an account which has been automatically disabled due to exceeding the configured number of consecutive unsuccessful log in attempts.
